How to Trade on Binance... Users Guide....

Unknown     July 17, 2018     No comments

Many people don't know yet how to get into the crypto world or even get started. I have compiled a how to list on setting up and using Binance for trading cryptocurrencies. There are a lot of ways you can go around and trade cryptocurrencies however, I personally like Binance and the low costs associated with trading. This is a brief how to guide to set up your account and start trading with some of my personal experiences and tied in as well.
  1. Set up a Binance account @ www.binance.com
  2. When you set it up you will be asked if you want to have added security. You want this to ensure nobody but you can log into your account. The best one to use is Google Authentication. Do not use the SMG authentication as there are ways to fake a cell signal and people have had issues with this before.
    a. To use Google Authentication,
    i. Download it on your phone through the app store
ii. Set it up through your Binance and whatever exchange you use to purchase your cryptocurrencies with
iii. Everytime you log into Binance it will ask you for your username and password, after that it will ask for your google authentication, this number will change every 60 seconds and is unique to your phone.
  3. Once you set up Google Authenticator you are able to log into Binance.
  4. Go into the Funds tab on the top right and click on Deposits
  5. In the Deposits page you will see a long random number on the lefthand side of your page, this is your deposit address and you will send whatever cryptocurrency from your personal wallet or exchange directly to this address.
    a. Ensure the numbers match up exactly when you copy and paste your deposit address to send the cryptocurrency as there is malware out there that will change your address when you copy and paste and you will lose your coins. I have not had this happen but have seen multiple stories citing this so be wary.
  6. After you have deposited your cryptocurrency it will take a while for the cryptos to transfer over but you will find them in the Balances tab on the upper task bar.
  7. You now have your cryptocurrency on Binance and are ready to trade. I personally like the Advanced Exchange as it offers a little more tools to use and like the layout but you can use whichever you prefer.
  8. On the top bar you will see BTC/USDT or something like that. That is the current cryptocurrency you are viewing as well as what it is valued against. There is BNB which is the Binance coin as well as USDT which is a token tied to the USD. I like to trade against the USDT as it is pretty much trades around $1 with little volatility. However, there is a lot of speculation out there on reddit and other pages about USDT and whether or not it could crash or what is backing it so don’t hold large amounts in USDT for long periods of time.
Hope this helped you get started on Binance if you have any questions feel free to ask them below in the comments and I will get back to you in the best of my abilities.
